These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the CAN communication circuit.

HINT:

If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored for other systems.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Click here

Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

Result

Proceed to

DTCs are output.

DTCs are not output.

HINT:

  • If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored for other systems.
  • If the CAN communication system has been inspected and repaired, these DTCs will not be output when rechecking for DTCs.
  • If these DTCs are output frequently, duplicate the conditions that cause the problem symptoms and perform troubleshooting again, even though the DTC was not output when rechecking for DTCs.
