CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

CUSTOMIZE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/o Entry and Start System)

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

(a) Customizing with the Techstream

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the Techstream on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Wireless Door Lock.

(5) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Function that sounds a buzzer when the lock switch is pressed when any of the doors are ajar.*1

Unlock 2 Operation

Function that unlocks driver door when unlock switch on door control transmitter assembly is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock.

Panic Function

Function that operates the theft deterrent system by pressing the panic switch on the door control transmitter assembly for 0.8 seconds.*1

Wireless Lock Function with Doors Open

Function that locks all the doors after the door that was ajar or open when the lock switch of the door control transmitter was pressed is closed*1

(b) Customizing with the multi-display (for Radio and Display Type)

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(2) Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door Lock Settings.

(3) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Function that unlocks the driver door when the unlock switch on the door control transmitter assembly is pressed once, and unlocks all of the doors when pressed twice. If this setting is OFF, pressing the unlock switch once unlocks all of the doors.
