DTC CHECK / CLEAR
NOTICE:
CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY))
HINT:
The steering lock system DTCs are output from the steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator or upper bracket assembly) via the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.
Body Electrical > Smart Key > Trouble Codes(f) Check for DTCs.
CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY))
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.
Body Electrical > Smart Key > Clear DTCs(f) Clear the DTCs.

(a) When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, the
